The Genesee County Road Commission announces that, weather permitting, the 2021 Chip Seal Program will begin on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 on the following roads:
Bray Road (Carpenter Road to Coldwater Road), Genesee Township (1 p.m.-3 p.m.)
Mt. Morris Road (Oak Road to Washburn Road), Richfield Township (4 p.m.-7 p.m.)
Baldwin Road (Vassar Road to Irish Road), Atlas Township (@ 8:00 a.m.)
Hegel Road (Henderson Road to Washburn Road), Atlas Township (end @ noon)
Traffic may be temporarily detoured on some roadways. Otherwise, open lanes of traffic will be flagged through the construction zone. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. Please contact Chris Freeman, maintenance supervisor, at (810) 767-4920 if you have questions.
