Starting at 3 p.m., Monday, August 29, there will be games and some tables set up for drawing, etc. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Garden for all ages. Music by the Flint Institute of Music Troubadours will fill the air soon after. The music was originally planned for 3 p.m. also, but instead will be there for everyone to enjoy from 4-6 p.m.
(Made up of a string quartet and storyteller from the Flint Institute of Music, the Troubadors brings elementary-aged students important curriculum and character education lessons)
Bring a chair.
Please note there will be tents up if it is a drippy day.
Peace Garden is located at W. McClellan and King Avenue.
