The William F. Delaney Headquarters Library temporarily closes due to positive COVID-19 case

The William F. Delaney Headquarters Library will be closed Monday, April 19 due to an employee testing positive for Covid-19. The library will be deep cleaned to mitigate any potential future risk to patrons or staff. Patrons who have been in close proximity to the employee have been notified.

As has been the procedure since June of 2020, all materials are quarantined for 72 hours. In the interest of public health, Genesee District Library (GDL) follows all Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) workplace safety guidelines. GDL also works closely with the Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) and follows all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
