Donations with Love receives grant from Community Foundation of Greater Flint to help the community in significant ways

FLINT-The Community Foundation of Greater-Flint has authorized a grant to DONATIONS WITH LOVE FOUNDATION INC., (DWLF) has received a $15,000 grant from the Mott Children’s Health Center Roy Peterson Fund from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint to support its Safe Medication, Crisis and Suicide Prevention Program.

Donations with Love, in collaboration with esteemed community partners, is also  presenting  “If Shoes Could Talk”. This event will take place September 13, 2025 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Richfield Academy Public School, located at 4358 Richfield Rd., in Flint.

This special event aims to provide essentials to students in our community, ensuring they have the resources they need to start the school year off right. Donations with Love will be giving away shoes and socks. They are providing community resources to support families throughout the school year. These resources aim to help families heal and thrive.

The goal of the DWLF Safe Medication, Crisis and Suicide program is to provide prevention awareness workshops to 500 community residents that will help address and improve health and wellness, literacy, youth development, access to veteran’s services, and help address poverty through established program
partnerships.

Robinson added: “We are thankful that the Community Foundation of Greater Flint believes in the work we do.”
