Big Brothers Big Sisters February Bowl for Kids’ Sake event to be virtual, being rescheduled

Due to the impact of COVID-19, Big Brothers Big Sisters rescheduled its February Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. The 42nd Annual Gary Haggart Bowling Challenge will be held virtually this year on May 6-8 & May 14-161 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint & Genesee County.

Ninety percent of former Littles agree that their Big helped them make better choices throughout their childhood. The funds your team raises will help Big Brothers Big Sisters match more children with caring adults. Better choices today lead to brighter futures tomorrow.

Registration for for Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2021, the nation’s largest campaign for igniting the potential of youth, begins January 29, at bbbsflint.org/bowl.

The “Kick Off” VIP Reception” is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday April 8 live on Facebook. This will begin four weeks of activities and challenges before team bowling begins the week of May 6. The 2021 Bowl for Kids’ Sake will have all the fun of past events with an exciting virtual spin with even more prizes and will keep everyone engaged while raising much needed funds to create and support one to one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in our community.
