Art fair offer: free admission

First Bloom Artful Bling & Pleasing Things Art Fair takes place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday,  March 25,
and from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26.

The event will be located in the Flint Cultural Center Academy (FCCA) at the corner of Chavez and R. T. Longway by I-475. Entry fee is $5. However, if you use the coupon at the bottom of this article or mention ‘The Flint Courier News’ at the entrance, you will be given free admission.

Featured are artists who will be bringing their handmade items, such as: spring wreaths, hand-made soaps, jewelry, quilts, yard ornaments, wooden items, hand knitted wearables, handmade cards, pottery, hand made purses, fused glass and more.

The Founder’s Society, an all volunteer group, sponsors two of these fairs, First Bloom in the
spring and First Frost in the fall, to raise funds for the Flint Institute of Arts.
