FLINT–Electric vehicles (EVs) are the future! For the good of the environment and the air we breathe (EVs produce no exhaust!), auto manufacturers are making and selling more and more electric vehicles every year. EVs are becoming significantly more affordable each year, so more families are able to buy them. All this means that every community needs to upgrade its infrastructure to include electric vehicle charging stations, in publicly accessible locations.
Our local community need to start planning now to make sure that Flint gets its fair share, and isn’t left behind as Michigan moves toward cleaner transportation options.
Area residents are invited for a learning session and community mapping activity to help plan where electric vehicle infrastructure (publicly accessible charging stations) would be best located in Flint.
