PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 2025 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER)

The Genesee County Program Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is available for public review. The 2025 CAPER highlights expenditures of Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) funds for the period of May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026, and information on activities undertaken with HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds for affordable housing in Genesee
County, outside the city of Flint, as well as Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds to prevent and reduce homelessness in the County.

The 2025 CAPER is available on the GCMPC website at:

Anyone wishing to review the 2025 CAPER in person may do so by visiting the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) office, located in Suite 8D of the Genesee County Administration Building, 324 S Saginaw Street, Flint, Michigan. The CAPER will be available to the public Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from July 6, 2026 through July 22, 2026.

The CAPER may also be reviewed at any of the Genesee County local units of government offices
during their business hours.

The public also has the opportunity to comment on the 2025 CAPER at a public hearing on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., in Room 807, Genesee County Administration Building.

GCMPC will furnish reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with limited English proficiency or disabilities upon 24-hour notice.
