Communities First, Inc. Brings Laughter Back to Flint with Good for the Soul Comedy Show 2

Flint, MI — Back by popular demand, Communities First, Inc. (CFI) is inviting the community to enjoy an evening of laughter, connection and purpose at the Good for the Soul Comedy Show 2, taking place Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Flint Farmers’ Market.
This ticketed fundraiser supports CFI’s programs and services that strengthen families and neighborhoods across the region. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner served, followed by the comedy show beginning at 7 p.m. A minimum donation per person includes both dinner and the show, and space is limited.
“This event is exactly what its name suggests—good for the soul,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc. “It’s a chance for our community to come together, relax, and laugh, all while supporting programs that help build stronger, healthier neighborhoods. Joy and connection are just as important as bricks and mortar in community development.”
The TV-clean (PG-13) comedy lineup features a mix of nationally recognized and rising comedic talent, including:
· Emcee: Steve Lind, a Midwest favorite known for his quick-paced, family-friendly humor and appearances on ABC and NBC
· Kesha No “I”, an up-and-coming comedian with witty storytelling and infectious energy
· Pat Gaines, whose positive, uplifting comedy has earned him spots alongside nationally known acts
· Kate Brindle, a high-energy comedian featured on CBC, Cox Cable, and major comedy festivals nationwide
· Headliner: Bryan McCree, a nationally recognized comedian with credits including Mad TV, Comedy Central, and Comics Unleashed
The event will be held at the Flint Farmers’ Market, located at 300 E. First St., Flint, MI 48502.
