2 vicious dog attacks occur in Flint

On March 5, 2023, Flint Police Department received two emergency calls for Flint residents that had suffered attacks by four pitbulls. The first attack occurred in the 1000 block of E. Foss Ave. The female victim received medical attention at a local hospital and was listed in good condition. The second attack was near E. Ridgeway and North St. The victim in the second attack received medical attention at a local hospital and was also listed in good condition.

Flint Police Department is asking residents in the area to take caution outdoors. If residents encounter unknown dogs running at large, please do not approach or attempt to capture. Notify 911 immediately.

The first pitbull is described as brown in color.  The second pitbull is described as brown with white legs and chest area.  The third pitbull is described as black with white legs and chest area.  The fourth pitbull description is unknown.  Flint Police Department is currently in the affected areas attempting to capture the canines.
