Enterprise Holdings Foundation donates $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County’s mentoring programs

Flint, MI – The Enterprise Holdings Foundation has donated $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Flint
and Genesee County through their ROAD Forward program. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of
Enterprise Holdings, which owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and
Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries.

The ROAD Forward program is designed to advance social and racial equity. Big Brothers Big Sisters
Flint and Genesee County’s vision is that all youth reach their full potential. All young people require
access to the same resources and opportunities in order for this to be achieved. Mentorship helps to
address the societal, educational and technological gaps that exists for many young people by providing
access to high-quality enriching mentoring programs. The ROAD Forward program will support the
organization’s ability to build the biggest possible futures for all youth.

“Support for Big Brothers Big Sisters Flint and Genesee County’s Mentoring Programs will advance our
mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of
youth,” said Lisa Humphrey, president/CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Flint and Genesee County.

“This critical funding from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation increases our capacity to empower
youth,” Humphrey added. “We are grateful to Abby Watteny, the Enterprise employee who selected the agency, for recognizing the role mentorship plays in addressing social and racial equity. We are committed to ensuring young people realize their full potential by providing the support of a caring adult. Mentoring
promotes social and emotional learning resulting in improved youth outcomes and mental wellness. Now,
more than ever, our youth need mentors who stand with us to defend that potential,”
