At approximately 4:20 a.m. on Friday, August 27, a traffic crash occurred on W. Pierson Road, near Susan Street, in the city of Flint.
The on scene investigation revealed a yellow Honda motorcycle was traveling W/B on W. Pierson Road and collided into construction equipment in a road closed area.
The victim was identified as Jalon Lamar Tarver M/B/3-28-94. He was transported to Hurley Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition, with multiple injuries. Next of kin was notified.
It is unclear if speed, alcohol and/or drugs are a contributing factor. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information pertaining to this investigation should contact Det. Randy Matteson at (810) 237-6816.
