New Zion will be celebrating the First Anniversary of Pastor and Mrs. Jacob Hawkins, Jr. all day on Sunday, April 27th. The Anniversary Theme is "Another Shepherd that Loves the Lord"(Psalm 23). The Speaker for the 11:00 a.m. service will be one of New Zion's sons, Rev. David Odom of Lansing, Michigan. The afternoon Speaker for the 4:00 p.m. program will be Rev. Michael Pettigrew, Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, and his choirs, ushers and members will also be with New Zion. Other sons of New Zion and their members will join the celebration in addition to other invited guests. The celebration is free and community members are welcome to attend as New Zion expresses appreciation for Pastor and Mrs. Jacob Hawkins, Jr.
