FDA approves Pfizer Booster Dose for 16 and 17 year olds

The FDA approved a booster dose of Pfizer vaccine for 16 and 17 year olds.

While this has been approved by the FDA, before they can administer, The Genesee county health department must wait for the ACIP to vote, the CDC to approve the associated guidelines and for the official guidance from MDHHS.

We have seen these approvals and guidelines move fairly quickly, however the ACIP has not scheduled/not released their meeting date to discuss this yet.  So we cannot provide an anticipated timeline at this point.
