City of Flint Police Department implements special Public Events Curfew Ordinance for Back to the Bricks event

Flint, MI – August 14, 2025 – The City of Flint Police Department has announced the implementation of a Special Public Events Curfew Ordinance for minors under 17 years of age during the upcoming Back to the Bricks event. The curfew will be in effect from Thursday, August 14, 2025, through Saturday, August 16, 2025, with hours set from 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. each day.

The designated event area for this ordinance spans from 5th Avenue south to I-69 and S. bound Chavez to Church Street, in the city of Flint. The primary aim of this curfew ordinance is to ensure the safety and orderliness of the event, providing a secure environment for all participants, according to the Flint Police.

The Flint Police Department is urging the residents of the City of Flint, visitors and event attendees to embrace this cherished tradition, while being aware of the enforcement measures in place. By adhering to the regulations, everyone can fully enjoy the authentic experience of Back to the Bricks.
