The Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will host a Lecture Series on "Spirituality Leadership"
every first Wednesday of the month. The lecture topic for the month of Feb. is "Church
Security and Loss Prevention". Pastor Major A. Stewart will facilitate this hour long lecture.
All church leaders of the Flint community are welcomed to come and share and learn how to be
proactive in keeping our churches safe on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 6:00 o'clock p.m. The Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will host a Christian Leadership Conference on Saturday, Feb. 7th beginning at 9:30 a.m. The adopted theme is: "Building on a Solid Foundation" with supporting scripture Psalm 127:1 "Except The Lord Build The House, They Labor In Vain That Build It … " The Conference Speakers and Topics are: Tyrone M. Jordan, Sr. (Legacy Giving), Rev. Jeffery A. Lang (Spiritual Gifts), Rev. Dr. Patricia L. Chunn (Youth Empowerment), and Mt. Olive's Minister of Music, Darnell L. Ishmel (Hymns and Worship). The Conference will culminate on Sunday, February 8, 2015 with a special 10:00 a.m. combined worship service. Dr. Leonard N. Smith will bring the message. Everyone is invited to come and share in this anticipated filled to capacity and dynamic Christian Leadership Conference and Sunday Worship.
