Pop Mod Photo Celebrates Grand Opening

Pop Mod Photo recently celebrated a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at their new location on the 7th floor of The Ferris Wheel Building in Downtown Flint.

Pop Mod Photo specializes in lifestyle images for wedding, engagement, senior, family, portrait, and commercial clients. They are based in Flint, but often travel the state for shoots and also cover international destination weddings. Courtney Simpson and Ryan Garza combine their separate photographic backgrounds in fine art and photojournalism to create real, beautiful images for their clients.

Courtney has a BFA in photography and has photographed artwork for museums nationwide. She has been an instructor of photography at the Flint Institute of Arts for a decade and has been involved in producing and teaching many art and photography projects in the community. Ryan is a two-time Emmy Award winning photojournalist with the Detroit Free Press and awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for his coverage of the Flint Water Crisis.

Pop Mod Photo has been featured in various publications, including the cover feature for the 2018 My North Wedding Magazine.
