NBA's Most Valuable Player Is Up For Grabs

NBA's Most Valuable Player Is Up For Grabs

Who's gonna win the NBA's Most Valuable Players Award.  Well, it depends on who you ask. This year's award is up for grabs and there are some good candidates vying for it. Here are some of the top candidates.

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors – the Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, insist there isn't a campaign and will not be one for Curry for MVP. Curry's effort on the court speaks for itself.

Curry is the best, pure jump, shooter in the game and his team is favored to win the Western Conference Championship. The Warriors are a well rounded team with Klay Thompson and Draymond Green playing very well.

James Harden, Houston Rockets – Harden has been carrying the Rockets on his back all season. Harden controls the action by facilitating the offense and of course taking and making big shots.

When Harden is not on the floor, the Rockets are an average team. Harden recently kicked LeBron James during a game (below the belt) and got suspended for one game.. The Rockets lost that game.

LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron can impact the game on both ends of the court. He has already won four MVP's. Can he bag another? Probably not. It's not because he hasn't had a great year, but most people are probably tired of LeBron (like Michael Jordan) winning the award.

Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder –  Westbrook has been on fire lately. What more can one man do? Russell had four straight triple-doubles and almost a fifth. With Kevin Durant out, Westbrook has played like a mad man. He has been unstoppable and impressive.

Who should win it? I would give it to Harden. Not only does he bring his talent to the team but has proven himself on the court. Harden is the glue of the team and leads by example; except for kicking LeBron. Well, maybe he was practicing his jiu jitsu.
