Mott Community College’s (MCC) Workforce Development Division will host the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program this year. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sponsors the VITA program which offers FREE tax preparation (Federal, State and Local) to qualifying individuals that make $57,000 or less,* persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. Workforce Development will host tax preparation sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. through April 13. Call Gail Bowman at 810-232-2514 for appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Saturday sessions are for walk-ins. MCC’s Workforce Development is located at 709 N. Saginaw Street, Flint.
