Just in time for the holidays, Factory Two is offering a series of Holiday Handicraft classes throughout December. Get to know your community makerspace and make beautiful gifts that your friends and family will love. Each Holiday Handicraft class offers attendees a chance to learn more about the equipment available in the makerspace and then use them to create unique gifts you won’t find anywhere else.

Embroidered Photo Ornaments — Sat 12/15 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Create your own embroidered holiday ornament and complete a checkout course in Factory Two’s sewing lab! Perfect for everyone who’s been looking to sew here at F2. Bring a photo to include in your ornament! If you can bring your own embroidery machine, PLEASE do, and let us know at info@factorytwo.org.

 

Embroidered Lace Bowl — Tuesday 12/18 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Learn to create a decorative lace bowl perfect to set holiday candies out in — plus complete a checkout course in Factory Two’s sewing lab! Perfect for everyone who’s been looking to sew here at F2. If you can bring your own embroidery machine, PLEASE do, and let us know at info@factorytwo.org. This class costs$15.

 

Personalized Cutting Board –Sat 12/22 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Looking for the perfect last-minute holiday gift? Get a taste of Factory Two’s wood shop as you make your very own 8×12″ cutting board! This class does NOT count as a wood shop checkout class but is a good introduction for those new to woodworking. Cut, sand, assemble, glue, and finish your custom cutting board before optionally adding a laser-etched embellishment! This class costs $25.
