Local Churches to Continue Water Distribution

 Local Churches to Continue Water Distribution   

Thanks to a generous donation from Judge Greg Mathis, several local churches will be able to continue distributing bottled water. Mathis is a former district court judge who now stars in a reality courtroom show. He recently organized a water convoy to bring free bottled water to Flint. As a result, the following churches will distribute water on the listed days and times:

 

First Trinity

1226 Beach St., Flint, MI 48502

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (or while supplies last).

For homebound delivery services call the church office at 810-234-2653.

 

Fairhaven SDA Church

1379 Louis Ave., Flint, MI 48505

Thursday 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 

Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church

317 E. Hamilton Ave. Flint, MI 48505

Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church/Salem Lutheran

Homebound delivery only.  Call 810-235-0863 for details.

 

The distribution services listed above are in addition to the Community Help Centers, which provide water through donations from Nestle, United Way and private donors. The Help Centers also provide lead mitigating food, faucet filters and many other resources. The Help Center locations are as follows:

 

Bethel United Methodist Church

Monday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Asbury United Methodist Church

1653 Davison Rd., Flint, MI 48506

Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Greater Holy Temple

6702 N. Dort. Hwy., Flint, MI 48505

Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
