Kids up to age 17 are invited to create their best chalk drawing on the sidewalk in front of the Flint Public Library, 1026 E. Kearsley Street, Saturday, September 13, 1-3 p.m. Artwork will be judged for a chance to win a Flint Institute of Arts scholarship! Participants will be judged in three age groups: 7 & under, 8-11 years and 12-17 year olds. A scholarship is given in each age group.

According to Librarian Brenda Harris, “It’s great fun to see the drawings and use of color that the children create.”

All participants will receive a free book from the Library. The program will happen rain or shine; rain location is the library’s basement. Admission is FREE. For more information
call 810.232-7111 or visit www.fpl.info.
