C.A.U.S.E. Team Hosting Candy Land for Kids

The C.A.U.S.E. (Community Advocates Uplifting Student Excellence) Team is again hosting Candy Land – A Candy Explosion, featuring Candy Mountain. This annual event boasts great activities and highlights Candy Mountain – a 2,500-pound mountain of candy.

The FREE event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5:31-8:31 p.m. at Word of Life Christian Church, 460 W. Atherton Rd. in Flint.

The goal is to provide an exciting, fun and safe environment for children and their families, at no cost.  More than 5,000 youth and community members have attended this spectacular event. The C.A.U.S.E. welcomes sponsorships and donations.

The C.A.U.S.E is an organization that stands firm in the belief that successful education of students requires educating both their hearts and minds with a diverse and balanced approach. Education is the cornerstone for sustainable success in an individual’s life. It is with this aim and mission that C.A.U.S.E. has been initiated as a catalyst to aid in restoring education as a pillar within our community. This charitable youth outreach effort will coordinate youth related fun and character building events with proceeds directed toward area organizations dedicated to equipping youth in academics, athletics, and artistic excellence.

For questions, sponsorships or donations, please call Michelle Hill at (810) 449-1462 or Jerome Threlkeld at (810) 845-5122.
